Supporting our community through fresh food donations!

For more than three decades, FareStart has been committed to transforming the lives of people in Seattle through food, life skills and job training. We at Ecolibrium deeply align with their vision of nourishing communities through food and are proud to partner with them.

We believe that fresh food is a human right. Thanks to donations from an Ecolibrium supporter and through a blossoming partnership with FareStart we are able to provide produce to those in need. We hope you will join us!

Among other programs, FareStart operates Mobile Community Markets. These markets, which are operated across Seattle year-round, provide underserved and low-income communities access to fresh produce from local farms and pantry stables for free or discounted prices, increasing people's access to healthy and nutritious food. Since the first community market in 2021, these markets have provided an incredible service to Seattle: 

• Over 13,000 households served

• 284,000 pounds of food distributed to food-insecure communities
